Newly introduced to the "session"-concept of writing songs. This was my second session ever. I had layed down this groovie percussion and synth idea and called it "idk"
Jonah layed down all the verses, hook and chorus in that one session. Only thing we had redone was the low breakdown chorus in the end of the song to introduce the last choruses with more of a surprice.
Made this one in my first rental. The owners upstairs especially loved when I had female singers around. No joke.
For the nerdzz: I used a variety of my favorite distortion plugins on this one. Universal Audio’s RAT on the bass, Logic’s bitcrusher on the percussion loop (makes everything super crispy), and the Logic Distortion on the main synth.
